I must have flowers.
Always and always.

Hi there, flowerlover. Thanks for checking out my story.

I’m Amy.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR. TEXTILE DESIGNER. ARTIST.

I want to fill your life with flowers. Whether its through an ethereal piece of art, elegant goods for your day-to-day, watercolor education, or luxury textiles.

Here you’ll find modern goods that make your heart bloom.

A Seed is Planted

My love affair with gardens began in the Cotswolds, England, with a childhood infused with the sweet scent of wildflowers, bustling farms, and the loving influence of my beekeeper grandparents.

I was the child with perpetual dirt under her fingernails with her soul invigorated by the dewy songs of spring. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a creator. Creating has forever been my love language and life compass.

Artist in Bloom

After earning a B.A. in Textile and Fashion Design from Winchester School of Art in the UK in 2004, I moved to NYC to pursue degrees in Fashion Styling from FIT and Fashion illustration from Parsons School of Art, NY.

I broke into the NYC fashion scene by working at a leading fashion accessory company. It was here I honed the art of transforming a simple sketch into a successful commercial product.

FLORALS + FASHION

It’s easy to get busy with life and work. And as I thrived in the high-stakes, high-pressure NYC fashion scene, eventually my need to surround myself with flowers became more and more pressing. My focus on floral art and textiles is a way to keep the memories of my childhood alive. It’s a point of connection between grown-up, responsible adult Amy and the carefree wild-spirited girl who cultivated creativity in the Cotswolds.

My work as an artist and designer has opened so many doors and led me on great adventures. For example, being chosen to meet Her Majesty, the Queen of England, as part of a Royal Society of Arts  250th anniversary at Buckingham Palace.

(She loved my shoes, by the way!)

I’ve traveled to Paris, London, and Berlin collecting trends for the American design industry twice a year, got to pack my bags full of Liberty of London goodies, my favorite British crisps, and chocolate…

…with plenty of times sweating bullets on the red-eye to present designs to big fashion houses in between.

More recently, I’ve established my own namesake design and art studio in Brooklyn, with the goal of spreading the memories and joy florals bring to humanity through thoughtful products, inclusive watercolor education, luxury textiles for interiors, and botanical fine art.
